Through the Grapevine: Party Services and Consulting was founded by Sommelier                 Chris Kirkham.  Chris has a Business Degree from Simon Fraser University and                 has studied wine and been accredited through the Wine and Spirits Education Trust                 (WSET) based in London, England.  He has over seven years of experience in the                 food service and wine industries and has worked with many well respected                 establishments.  From years of practice, Chris’ passion for wine and ability to                 communicate it in an approachable fashion is unparalleled, and he now wishes to                 pass this passion on to you.                  “I started Through the Grapevine to make the world of wine unintimidating and                 accessible to everyone.  The popularity of wine is exploding, however many people                 still feel uncomfortable purchasing wine or ordering it at a restaurant.   I hope that                 through this business I will be able to introduce everyone, no matter age or walk of                 life, to the culture and diversity that makes wine amazing and instill a passion for                 wine in everyone I meet.” – Chris Kirkham
